MTX | 4V MULTIFUNCTIONAL TOOL
The MTX multi-tool is an innovative and versatile gadget designed for practical use in everyday life, tailored to the lifestyle and preferences of millennials. With a sleek, futuristic form inspired by science fiction and cyberpunk aesthetics, the MTX stands out as both a functional device and a statement piece for modern gadget enthusiasts.
Combining multiple tools into one compact design, the MTX offers distance measurement, laser guidance, leveling, screwing, and even flashlight functionality. Simplicity and user-friendliness were central to the design, achieved through a clear, intuitive interface displayed on dual LCD screens, a central control knob, and two function selection buttons.
An illuminated LED ring around the control enhances the user experience by clearly displaying battery status at a glance. Every detail—from the interface to the silhouette—was designed to resonate with tech-savvy, design-conscious users seeking smart tools for everyday tasks.
Despite successful prototype development and promising early feedback, the project was put on hold due to the impact of the global pandemic on the manufacturer’s operations.
